NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms

Easier Projects with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF)

Insulated concrete forms, ICF from Nudura® are available at Delcan Building Materials Ltd.

We serve Fort Macleod, Lethbridge, & Surrounding Areas!

Using these products on your next project can save you time, money, and frustration by making it easier to build. There's no measuring or cutting in many cases, as the forms are already made to meet the needs of most projects. Design professionals, architects, homeowners, and contractors all trust these efficient materials to build an insulated structure quickly.

How much does an ICF foundation cost?
An ICF building typically costs about 10% more money than a stick-framed structure. You'll see savings with the one step process of structure, insulation, furring strips and vapour barrier, as well as nearly 50% less spent on heating.

What are the advantages to building an ICF building?
ICF buildings use 40-50% less energy to heat and cool when combined with other energy saving products. They are also resistant to wind, fire, mold, insects and rodents. ICF buildings are safe, quiet and comfortable places for your families. ICF construction can be done in the winter since there is no risk of the concrete freezing with the polystyrene insulation on both sides of the poured concrete.

Are there limitations on exterior finishes with ICF?
No, any stucco or siding can be fastened to the plastic webs just like conventional methods.

Why wood you?
Lumber Price Graph

The Concrete Story behind Rising Lumber Prices

Tariffs, environmental constraints, the pandemic and a resurging construction market have left home builders holding the bag. Or should we say handing the bag over, the bag of cash that is. One thing that has not increased in with framing lumber and that is the quality, the value, or the long-term resiliency. Why pay more when proven options, such as Nudura Insulated Concrete (ICFs), create greater value at a lower cost.

Concrete for less than wood framing?
Historically chosen due to the greater durability not the cost, the enhanced comfort and superior energy efficiency, builders are now choosing Nudura for the cost competitiveness, the availability, and the speed. Sounds like a big win for the homeowner!
